Jennifer Michitson, Principal
Ms. Jennifer Michitson brings an experienced administrative and teaching background consisting of nine years as an English teacher for grades 9-12 and five years as an Academic Dean for grades 6-12 for the Timberlane Regional School District. Highlights from her career and administrative experience include expertise in the areas of K-12 curriculum alignment, evaluation, and revision, staff development, teacher supervision, technology integration, competency-based education, Universal Design for Learning, Social and Emotional Learning, and data-informed decision-making. Ms. Michitson's educational credentials include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree with a Principal Certification from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of New Hampshire.
Dr. Robert Dawson, Assistant Principal / Student Life
Nichole O'Brien, Associate Principal / Curriculum
Ms. Nichole O’Brien joins the Sanborn team with both teaching and administrative experience in education. After receiving her Bachelor of Art in Social Studies Education from Troy University, she stepped into the classroom as an American government teacher at Pinkerton Academy where she predominantly taught in the Freshman Academy in addition to Advanced Placement political science courses which she proposed and designed. Prior to coming to Sanborn, Ms. O’Brien served Merrimack Middle School in the Merrimack School District as their interim assistant principal. During her time as a teacher, she earned a Master of Art in American History and Government from Ashland University. Most recently, she completed a Master of Education in Leadership in School Administration through Southern New Hampshire University and is currently completing advanced coursework at Indiana University studying Education Law.
Mr. Sean Sullivan , Assistant Principal
Mr. Sean Sullivan joins Sanborn administration team here at Sanborn Middle/High School after seventeen years of teaching. Mr. Sullivan started his teaching career teaching Physical Education and Health in Rochester and has also taught in the Hampton and Sanborn school districts. Mr. Sullivan graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelors in Physical Education. He then pursued a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of New England. Mr. Sullivan has also coached basketball in the past at the High School level.
Mr. Joshua White, Assistant Principal
Mr. Josh White joins the Sanborn administration after teaching 11 years in the Sanborn School District. Mr White has received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health Education from Plymouth State University as well as a Masters in Educational Leadership from The University of New England. Mr. White served as Rochester Middle School’s Health Education Teacher for three years before teaching Physical Education and Health Education for the Sanborn Regional School District. During his time at Sanborn Regional High School, Mr. White has been awarded the 2019, 2020, 2021 YMCA Leadership in Education Award as well as the 2022 Governor’s Council, NH CHART Award. In 2023 Mr. White was named the 2023 NH Down Syndrome Awareness Teacher of the Year Award. Mr. White currently serves as the SRHS Head Football coach, where most recently he was named the 2023 Division 2 East Coach of the Year.
